Happy Easter!
Well, what a day! The kids really seemed excited that the Bunny came in the night to leave baskets and eggs. Myles woke up early - around 5:40 am... right when the Bunny (aka: Mommy) was hopping around and placing the eggs in their special hiding spot. Luckily I told him that it wasn't 6:00 am yet so he went back to bed. After things were all set, I went in to get Myles, while Erik woke up to check things out. Holly slept, but Myles ran around collecting the eggs (both real and plastic) that were scattered around the house. Next came the baskets. Myles dug through his basket and was pleased with the contents that it was filled with. It was great that the Bunny used his basket from Daycare! Especially since the Bunny realized at 9:30 pm last night that Myles's basket from last year was still in his room up in his closet... :) Holly woke up a little later and dug into her basket as well. She seemed happy! We then hung out for most of the day to rest up. Myles didn't complain because he got to watch movies!
But the day was not all joyful. Erik was slowly on the mend (after being sick all night long - see previous posting), but still not well. Holly threw up this morning, so with both of those issues we decided not to attend Easter Sunday Church (Boo Hoo!). Holly never got to wear her Easter dress (Boo Hoo!). We also decided not to eat our Easter feast at Mom and Dad's house (Boo Hoo!). Big bummer, but we don't want to spread the bug to their house. Grandma made a guest appearance to our house to drop off some Easter gifts. That was really nice!
Now it's time for bed. I hope that everyone had a better weekend than we did (at least health wise). God Bless!

Happy Belated Easter! I can't believe that you have the illness going around your home again! What is going on??? We will have to get together sometime soon when everyone is feeling healthy. We will be around this week and this weekend if you guys are not doing anything.
Take care,
